AAUW Iowa Online Meetings

This summer the board decided to change to a new web platform for online meetings.  This fall we will start using Zoom.

You can click on the link above to access the online meeting.  This link will work for all meetings scheduled.

System Requirements

  • An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
  • Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth
  • A webcam or HD webcam – built-in or USB plug-in
  • Or, a HD cam or HD camcorder with video capture card

We have audio and video capabilities with Zoom – you can choose just to listen if you do not have web-cam capabilities.

If you are unsure about how to access Zoom – please email or call me – we can set up a time for a “mock” meeting, so you are comfortable with logging in. It is VERY user friendly, and if you have used any online meeting software, it is very easy to navigate.

Monday, January 8, 2018, 7:00 p.m. “Lobbying 101,” Anne Johnson. Get pointers on how to effectively communicate with your national, state and local representatives.

Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 7:00 p.m. “Starting a New AAUW Branch,” Irene Dodder, Elaine Kresse, Jan Mitchell. Three member leaders with experience in starting a branch are here to help.
